August & April began with a love of the part of wedding planning that happens somewhere between the Pinterest board and the finished celebration.
The colors. The flowers. The tables. The paper. The fashion. The tiny detail nobody needs, but somehow makes the entire thing feel special.
Founded by Meaghan Moore Witherspoon, August & April is a wedding and event design studio for couples who want a celebration that feels elevated without feeling expected and personal without feeling overly themed.

Hi, I'm Meaghan!
August & April started after designing my own wedding and realizing that the creative process I could happily spend hours obsessing over was the exact part of wedding planning other people often found overwhelming.
I loved figuring out not only what looked beautiful, but how every choice worked together: how the bridesmaid dresses played against the flowers, how the cocktail napkins connected to the bar, how a family detail could become part of the design, and how dozens of individual decisions could ultimately feel like one celebration.
That philosophy became August & April.
I believe the best weddings aren't necessarily the ones with the most flowers, the biggest budget or the trendiest details. They're the ones that feel thoughtful, personal and true to the people at the center of them.
My job is to help you figure out what that looks like for yours.
